World of Hyatt award chart 2026

Hyatt chart structure, representative point costs, fuel surcharge profile, and transfer paths in. Verified against issuer sources on May 18, 2026.

How the chart works

Effective May 20, 2026, Hyatt expands from a 3-tier (Off-Peak / Standard / Peak) chart to a 5-tier (Lowest / Low / Moderate / Upper / Top) chart across the same 8 categories. Hotels keep fixed category assignments; the nightly cost varies by the date's demand tier. Free Night Awards (Cat 1-4, Cat 1-7) still work at any tier within the category cap. 136 properties shift categories at the cutover (82% up, 18% down). Hyatt remains a published-chart program, which is rare among major hotels in 2026.

Quirks worth knowing

  • 5-tier dynamic model is new for 2026; Top tier represents 38 to 58 percent increases versus old Peak at most categories
  • Free Night Certificates (Cat 1-4, Cat 1-7) cover any tier at an eligible property
  • No fuel surcharges and no resort fees on award stays
  • Globalist suite upgrades and Guest of Honor still apply to award bookings
  • Bookings made before May 20 keep the old 3-tier pricing for the full stay
